King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is one of London’s biggest and most prestigious teaching hospitals. The Department of Occupational Health and Wellbeing (OH) at Kings College Hospital provides occupational health services to approximately 13,000 Trust employees, this includes the Princess Royal University Hospital in Bromley and Orpington Hospital. OH at Kings also provides services under contract to, Kings College London staff and some postgraduate courses as well as the Institute of Psychiatry and a number of small contracts employing ancillary and technical staff. We offer our patients a wide range of OH services through a multidisciplinary clinical team.

We are seeking to recruit highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced senior MSK physiotherapists to join our team. The 1st position is a full time fixed term contract until 31.10.18. The 2nd position is a full time fixed term contract until 31.12.17 (with potential to extend this).

You will be working alongside occupational therapists, all part of the in-house OH therapies team who work as part of the wider OH MDT consisting of specialist nurses, doctors and a business and admin team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience within the field of MSK physiotherapy working as an independent practitioner making assessment, undertaking treatment and advising on fitness to work, therefore experience within an occupational health setting would be an advantage.

To succeed you must be highly confident, have excellent communication and IT skills, a flexible pro-active approach and be able to manage a varied and demanding workload as well as develop others.

In return for your skills and depth of experience we offer great support and opportunity as a teaching and training centre as well as the opportunity to work with a varied professional group. This opportunity offers the successful candidate the scope for you to make a valuable contribution to the success of its OH services.

Some travel may be involved in the post as the service provides satellite clinics at other sites such as KCL campus sites, the Bethlem, Orpington as well as Kings Denmark Hill
